XF 2.2 How to Moderate thread from only spacific user group not the comments/reply?

hello,
I wanted only registered users group created thread to be approved manually, but not other groups.
And after approving X thread they can post without approval.
I have done it using user group promotion with X Thread.

I set registered user permission > Submit content without approval "No" but it includes the post reply.
In my case I don't want to moderate their comments but their thread.
How can I do that?

There is no such functionality out of the box.
You can enable the «Moderate new threads posted in this forum» option for each forum you need, and set permission to bypass moderation with this add-on. I didn't find a better solution for this.
