Возможно в самом шаблоне делал изменения связанные с логотипом и нарушил синтаксис

возможно переименовали что то или перестроили в настройках с момента обсуждения как сделать категории в 1 столб. искал сегодня 2 часа точно. Вижу даже пример как у других,а у себя найти не могу.
в итоге Настройки стиля: ├ [UI.X] Forum Nodes кнопка Forum Node Style ставим Custom.
надеюсь кому пригодится.

я там за 2 часа истыкал все что только было похоже,но помогло в итоге после этого изменения.

Кнопка "Category Layout Options" настойки колонок категорий, "Default Layout Options" - настройки колонок разделов. На против каждого узла есть еще "Node Options", где можно настроить иконки, цвет текста и фона и т.д.

Я его вообще так и не использовал ни разу. Не сложилось. Но если был сделан дочерной то наверное можно.

В лучших традициях, стоит шаблон и его дочерний, в шаблонах которого и делались все правки

Можно, если делать все изменения, в дочернем.
Тогда достаточно обновить основной, а уже дочерний, путём сравнения и объединения.

Changelog:

1. Added a style property for minimal search animation speed
2. Minimal search now uses CSS animation as opposed to javascript for a smoother look (Minimal search no long bumps content down either)
3. Collapse sidebar is stored server side so it will follow you now to other devices
4. A minor sticky z-index issue
5. Node grids with 1 column had a minor mobile layout bug that has been fixed
6. Firefox changed flexbox rules, so we have adapted
7. API key now hides for security concerns in the input
8. Home icon uses <i> tag so it can be more easily changed
9. Sticky thresholds now can include orientation. So you can have sticky things not be sticky when in landscape mode which will make it easier to see things

Hope, было бы не плохо в первое сообщение большими буквами добавить,что нужен дополнительный хак для установки стиля и при установке сразу загружать его 2 раза и делать изменения в дочернем,т.к совсем не удобно искать инфу про хак и еще более обидно когда правил десяток шаблонов,то потом делать это снова из за того,что вышла новая версия
